Tribute to
Caval's 8/18/08 - 11/17/08
On August 18, 2008 a small wonder entered the world. He was a Swedish Vallhund who would later be known as Odin, so named for the Norse god of Wisdom and Battle. Odin lived true to his name, and he came to live with our family only to become its most admired member. Odin displayed a spirit that was contagious, and in a very short time, left life-lasting impressions upon all who had the good fortune to know him.
Odin had a very special part of himself that he wore on the outside for all to see – his heart. Among his markings was a perfect heart that he showed with pride. His love for everyone and everything reminded us all that it was no mistake why that heart was there.
On November 17th that same year, while only beginning his life’s journey, a rare infliction stole him away, leaving a void in our family that may never be filled. The short time he was with us provided a lesson as to just how special one small life can be, and to cherish each moment that we all have with each other.
Odin, his life, and his memory will never be forgotten.
To Odin: We love you and miss you very much, Your family
Bob, Inge & Family.
Odin somehow developed an occulusion in the spinal
fluid and his brain. He all of a sudden became sick. Robert and Inge took him to
specialists and they have given a cd of MRI to Cheryl's vet so this can be
discussed. |
